Man Utd and adidas Originals release new footwear – Barcelona ’99


Priced at £100, the Barcelona trainer is a throwback to a very
special night that saw the Red Devils beat Bayern Munich at Camp
Nou to claim the famous treble — winning the Premier League, FA
Cup and Champions League — a feat that has never been replicated
by any other English team. Current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored the winning goal; beating the German giants 2-1 in injury time.
The trainers themselves are trendy and match goers are usually
seen wearing three stripes on their feet, so these are bound to sell
out quickly, just like previous releases tied with the club.
They are packed with references to the legendary final, too. White
with red paint, suede overlays, and the numbers 91 and 93 to
remember those two late goals that floored the Bayern players with
tears.There’a also an outline of Ole’s treble-winning goal celebration
inside the shoe. Release date is Friday 1, November. See pictures below:
